Frants Lasse Becker has a broad and extensive career in international business and economic development encompassing project management, project finance, strategic planning, sales, marketing, general management and management consulting in the public and private sectors. His domestic and international track record and professional background has primarily been in North America and Europe.

He has served as a senior management advisor to Caithness Resources, Inc. in New York, where he was responsible for the strategic planning and development of the European market for a medical waste recycling process and technology. This project was brought to a financial closing of circa $28 million. This triggered the beginning of the construction of a 100,000 Ton-per-year medical waste recycling plant in the Netherlands.

He has served in the public sectors in Economic Development for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C. Mr. Becker was appointed by the Governor of the State of Rhode Island, as Director of Marketing for the Rhode Island Department of Economic Development and Port Authority. Prior to this, Mr. Becker was Executive Vice President for Semperit of America, Inc., a subsidiary of Semperit A.G., Vienna, Austria. He spent 3 years with Barclay Investment, Inc. in corporate finance and investment banking providing investment-banking services to start-up companies and projects for short-term and future financing strategies, such as private placements. He has a vast network and contacts in Europe and North America, in the public and private sectors.

Mr. Becker received a graduate degree in Business Administration from Niels Brock Business College, Copenhagen Denmark. He also holds diplomas in finance and economics from the Hochschule Fur Welthandel, Vienna, Austria. He attended the Program for Management Development, PMD at Harvard Business School, and has diplomas in Economic Development from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
